I'm glad I went to see Mum over the break. But I miss her even more now. I wonder what she thinks of all this engagement crap. And despite the fact Flint is my birth father, I'm glad I don't expect him to try to marry off to anyone in particular. I can do whatever I want, like Dad would want me too.

I will probably regret saying this, but everything has been so dull lately. But then again, I suppose that is the fault of a 6th year, when everyone else is rushing about trying to study for exams. I do enjoy just regular finals over OWLs and NEWTs. Even if the Professors seem to try and convince us we should be pressured as much as we would for NEWTs. No... the only really exciting thing about 6th year is getting your apparating license.

It's strange. I want the year to end because I'd much rather go back to Venice with Adam than stay here. But... if the year is over, then he's done. And eventually I'll have to go back without him. I don't look forward to it at all, and it's paining me now to think about it. Next year is going to be so miserable.

Apparently, Scorpius' recent progress has given father and mother ideas. Mother has sent me an owl blatantly suggesting I should follow my dear friend's footsteps. Father must be livid. What should one in my position do in a situation like this?

I am so beyond bored and the common room is just making me even more annoyed. I can't stand first years, I don't remember being that incredibly stupid when I was their age. Although I don't think I was ever that stupid in general. Here's some advice for you children. No, that older guy wasn't looking at you. If he was it's probably because you had something on your face or he thought you staring at him was creepy. He doesn't like you, no one likes you. Probably because you are annoying and say like more than any other word in the English language.

Ok, so now that I can speak again, which is a relief, I'd just like to apologize to those I had... plans with on Friday afternoon. Sorry about that guys. I didn't think anyone would still be up for anything much with all the animal growling running amock. I must say, although I happen to take a liking to that mischievous little elf, some of his pranks do get somewhat tedious.
Anyone have another good day in mind? Cause you know me; I still want to... do what we had planned.

I'm sick of studying. I'm sick of doing Prefect duties... I hardly talk to my sisters anymore. Dad's stopped caring about getting me to talk to him. It's like whatever issue with Piper has now disappeared... and I don't feel good about it. Helena is really the only one that listens to me, and even now she hasn't been around much...
